WHO IS LUMEA PAPER & FOLK

Hey there, I'm Luciana, but most people call me Lu. I'm the crafty soul steering the ship here, fueled by an insatiable curiosity, a passion for timeless simplicity, and an inborn creativity that's been my guiding star. Believe it or not, I kicked off Lumea Paper and Folk right in my kitchen, my makeshift studio in Basel, back in March 2020. There was no grand plan, no elaborate vision. Honestly, I never even imagined I'd find joy in making handmade paper. It all began with a hunt for the perfect handmade paper for our wedding invitations. We searched high and low, but nothing we found quite hit the mark. So, I did what any curious soul would do – I followed my instincts and our needs, and the rest, as they say, is history!
